Thor had been flying the streets what seemed like all day trying to find a familiar face. Though he found a familiar building that was one of the largest in Manhattan. As he stood at the base of Stark Tower he could only hope that inside Tony would be in there with an explanation. That man seemed to have the answer for every single problem in the world. Walking inside the building seemed empty as if nobody had been in here in months. He didn't like the eerie feeling that travelled up and down his spine.”This doesn't feel right.” But Thor needed to find his comrade, so he kept walking. His memory was well in tact as he headed into the elevator pressing the button that went directly to the Avenger’s meeting room. As the elevator launched upwards it caused him to lose his balance causing him to fall backwards against the wall. Technology was not his best friend at all, he actually had a strong dislike for it.
A small ding rang through the elevator letting him know it was time to exit. The doors opened slowly revealing the dark room. Stepping out into the dark he tried to remember how to turn the lights on, but it just escaped him. Moving around in the dark was not a fun experience as he bumped into several corners of the table, and hitting a few chairs along the way. ”Stark, turn on the lights.” His words just filled the empty room and was only met with no response. After a few minutes though he managed to find the light switch. Flicking it upwards it brighten the room revealing the knocked over chairs and the displaced table. Moving around to the windows he peered out into the city trying to piece together what could have happened. ”By Odin’s beard what happened to me?” The question just raced back and forth across his mind, but then he heard sharp sound of movement behind him.
Reaching his right hand down by his side he was ready to grab Mjolnir if he needed it. ”It is not wise to sneak up on the God of Thunder.” Turning around he saw a brunette haired woman that was familiar to him, but her name escaped him. He was sure that he had seen her, but it wasn't coming to him all he wanted to know where Tony Stark was. Folding his arms in front of him he stared into her soul as if he was searching it for answers. ”Tell me woman, where is the one known as Tony Stark. This is his tower is it not?” His voice boomed across the room because that was how far she was standing away from him. Thor probably should have been more subtle but he was curious about what happened to him. Either she was going to tell him where the one was who could give him answers or he would go through this whole tower until he found him. Then it hit him like a Asgardian beast just who she was. "Hawkeye isn't it? Where are the rest of the Avengers."

Oh when I get there it wont be far enough. I'm a renegade its in my blood. If ever I get there it wont be fast enough. I'm a renegade I always was. For a little while Kate felt quite important...she was in charge of the tower...mostly because there wasn't anyone else here. Part of her felt this horrible sinking feeling. She had told Cap if any of the other Avengers were around this was going to be the first place they came and truly she expected more of them to show up by now. There wasn't much left do to here, she had diverted most of the power from the building to the computers to keep the emergency phonelines open and she had been up here watching the city for any critical disasters. The city below them was beautiful, it looked like jewels up here. Falling fireworks caught in the air glowing in a sea of black. It was utterly beautiful. You could see the patterns in the city from here, you could see the street grids and watch red lights travel though roads like blood cells in veins running though the city.
The voice filtering though the floor pricked her attention away from the city below to go looking for it. She recognised it however she still picked up her bow and pulled an arrow from he quiver. It could have been anyone...and you could never be too prepared as an Avenger. Kate couldn't help but smirk to herself, oh it was only Thor. With a sigh of relief she placed the arrow back in her quiver. Her intentions hadn't been to sneak up on him she just wanted to keep her options open which was wise right now. Still being called woman was a tad offensive. Kate just stood there and blinked at him for a moment before raising an eyebrow “Woman? Really. You can not be serious right now.” The fact he was a 'god' meant jack right now. “Do you realise how utterly inappropriate that is? This is the twenty first century you can't go around saying such that!”
Shaking her head she sighed and shrugged her shoulders, “We don't know, so far its me, you...Cap an Spider-Man the rest are missing...and the Avengers cards are down we have no way of contacting them.” Though if they were around they should have been here by now. It was like Avenger Rule 1 that when trouble hit you made for the tower to meet the rest of the team. “Someones cut off the city, we're in a different universe...but basically it means the city, everyone in it...is trapped here for the foreseeable future. Caps out being well...Cap and trying to maintain public order before people riot....and I'm trying to gather as many Avengers together as possible but we are hilariously understaffed.” “Have you seen any of the others?”
I'll keep running, running, running! I'll keep running. I'll keep running again.

Thor remained silent as she admonished him for calling her a woman. She sounded just like Lady Sif it only served as a reminder that he wouldn't see her for some time. As he went to part his lips to speak nothing would come out as she went on to mention that Cap and man of Spider was here in the city. Troubling part was that the others were still missing and they had no way of communicating with them. This was hard to take in already along with the fact that there no way to leave this city period. When the question was asked did has he seen any other Avengers he couldn't answer that because he had only been in the city five days so far. That really hasn't given him much time to perform a search. ”Kate, aye no I have not, but you are the first familiar person I have ran into.”
Placing Mjolnir down on the table he placed both fist down on the table. His head fell forward along with his blonde hair. Then he looked up at her with a smile on his face. Even though he felt helpless he had to keep his spirits high and in good faith because the mortals of this world reminded him how to keep hope in a hopeless situation. ”I hope Stark kept some clothes around here because I desire food.” Walking towards Kate who was on the side of the room he simply placed a hand on her shoulder looking her dead in the eye. ”As I am the God of Thunder everything will be alright.” With a smile he headed towards the exit of the room. ”Downstairs so we can feast and discuss more about this situation.” Those words he left with her as he walked back into the elevator.
If this was anything like the Avengers Tower from his world then Tony had kept a clothing stash on a certain floor in case the Avengers needed civilian disguises. Pressing the button it took him down a few floors. As the doors opened he stepped out into a room that was filled with clothing for both genders and various sizes. Thor could not grasp the concept of why mortals needed so much clothing. He would be perfect with the outfit he had on never wanting to change it unless Frigga made him because it was starting to smell. Walking over to the men side his hands ran over several different shirts and pants. Trying to find his size was hard because there weren't many Avengers that was the same shape as him. Finally he found a dark t-shirt, jeans, and some dark boots to go along with it. Confident he was alone he stepped out of his godly armor and into civilian clothes which felt weird to him. It had been so long since he looked like a citizen of earth.
Not wanting to keep Kate much longer he headed back towards the elevator as it took him downstairs to the main lobby. As the doors opened he stepped out with a large grin on his face. ”Lead the way to the feast if you do not mind.” Walking up past her he held the doors open for her. It was the least he could do for calling her a woman instead of by her name. If this was Sif she would probably punch him for doing such a gentleman thing.

Oh when I get there it wont be far enough. I'm a renegade its in my blood. If ever I get there it wont be fast enough. I'm a renegade I always was.
Great. He hadn't seen anyone. Perfect. Literally this situation could not get worse.
Kate facepalmed, she sighed heavily before running ahand though her hair, “Alright, now that is worrisome.” She observed before letting her brain wonder to other things which involved mostly how on earth five people could cover the entire city and keep the people safe while trying to work out how they were going to get out of this absolute omnishambles of a mess. However...Thor had other plans, and Kate was none too impressed.
She was going to say something but she decided chewing him out once in one day was enough and he was a King she kinda didn't want to push her luck. Sometimes it amazed people what Kate could get away when she spoke to people, she had given lectures on the grey of morality to Magento of all people and proceeded to tell Dr Doom that there was no such thing as a benevolent dictator and he was still a dictator. People had been killed for less but she had managed to get out of the situation without a scratch. Maybe they would be okay this time around.
“I have no idea where is going to be open for food.” Kate answered flatly...because right now the city was kinda in chaos and she was thinking the last thing people were going to do was open up the fast food place but maybe they would find somewhere. Now come to think about it she was hungry, the last time she had eaten was forever ago. Well not really but it felt like it. As he went downstairs Kate felt herself flop on to one of the couches, oh man she wanted a nap. Food and a nap sounded so good right now. Maybe they would go to that Chinese place but she wasn't sure he was fond of it, maybe he wouldn't like it...there was the Thai place? The Shwarma place a few blocks up?
Great now she was just hungry.
Laying her head back and closing her eyes she let her brain float away to the magic land of distracting food where everything looked so great and everything was amazing and it was all just...perfectly interrupted. She heard hi before she saw him, snapping her eyes open she attempted to make it look like she still had some kind of mental faculty left and energy. No one had managed to get much sleep lately and Kate had managed to grab an hour here and an hour there but when you totalled it all up she was running on empty.
“Wow...you look borderline normal in that...” It was surprising what a change of clothes could do for someone. Kate nodded her head towards the elevator, “come on, I'm sure we can find something, I a not promising a feast though so don't get your hopes up.” The least she could do was give him some fair warning. “What you want to eat...there's Chinese, Thai...eh I think there's a Shwarma place as well eh...I don't know what else.”
“All I know is I'm really hungry and I don't have the mental alertness right now to make any choices so you get to pick.” Yes. The reason she was offering him the choice was not because he was a king of another relm and a demi god but was because she was too tired. Welcome to Kate Bishops world. She was almost practically royalty anyway. At least he held the door open though, she smiled at him, a tired but warm one and thanked him. “Wow a King and chivalrous as well? I've been living in the wrong realm for the last twenty one years then.” Well if all men on Asgard were that well trained she might just move there, would be easier than trying to deal with Tommy and Eli.
I'll keep running, running, running! I'll keep running. I'll keep running again.
