My name is Bobby Drake. Iceman. I've been an X-Man, an X...Factor-ian, a Defender, a Champion (don't ask). I've been a super hero since before I was old enough to shave. I've stood side by side with the toughest, most powerful heroes in the known universe and always held my own. But today... today I need to be something more. So go ahead, call me a joke if you want. Label me the X-Man with the lamest power ever. But a man of untapped potential? Don't you dare ever call me that again!

Bobby & Charlie:
So they're both 616, Charlie's been a prominent member of the pro-equality movement for mutants for a while now, even through all that she's been rather reserved with her powers. Being an astral she doesn't really have much physical presence with her powers, she can't really fight with them. Charlie suspects its one of the reasons that she's never really geled with the mutant community. She feels rather rejected by them because she doesn't have a 'show off' power and she doesn't really feel accepted by normal society either. She kinda lives in this weird inbetween land.
Still I plan on having her kinda discover what she could really do and become more comfortable with her powers, big problem though - she doesn't have that many friends that are actually mutants. She's surrounded by people who are mutants trying to be humans and live normal lives rather than embrace what it is they can do. Being an Astral Charlie's powers are pretty damn rare. The only other mutant who can project is Jean Grey - Charlie doesn't have any of the other fun skills though - and I don't think she has any idea exactly how it should go. It would be nice for her to have a friend who is rather experienced when it comes to powers. Who better than an xman to be honest?

So, both of these are from the same school and the same universe. Any chance they've met? Tank's been stuck mostly down in the basement of the school though. But she'd have heard of the mutant who's her polar opposite. Anything that sparks your muse?
