IMPERIUS REX
Namor is the king of Atlantis. He is arrogant, rude, and is very good at destroying doors, but also a skilled diplomat. While he doesn't care much for humans, he is very dedicated to his people and goes to great lengths to save them.
Funfacts: He's pretty much bipolar, narrates what he is doing, and likes to speak in the third person. He is also very easy to mind control.
FRIENDS
Namor doesn't exactly have friends, but he does have allies. He has been a member of the Avengers, and has worked extensively with the X-Men before. Namor is a person to be careful around. His loyalty and friendship only last as long as he desires.
ENEMIES
Namor has a lot of these. I don't feel like listing them all. We would probably be here all day. So, to put it simply, anyone who threatens Atlantis in any shape or form is enemy to Namor.
ROMANTIC
Namor has a thing for pretty human women. He's had a couple of relationships, most of them ending in his wife dying, but that doesn't usually stop him from pursuing women. He's gone through two wives, and is madly in love with Sue Storm. He also has close to zero respect for human fidelity, and makes a game of pissing off human (read non-Atlantian) males by spending time with "their" women.

Loki&Namor
Sounds like fun! Namor honestly doesn't save people, so I wouldn't do that, but him and Loki would be an interesting encounter. I can't decide whether he'd be amused by Loki, or want to smash him. Hmmmm. Namor might end up at Avengers mansion for a bit if Loki ends up being allowed to stay there. He needs a place to sulk in a bathtub Or they could run into each other elsewhere, like a pier, or maybe Namor could be raging over....something and Loki could talk him down.
He knows Thor and thinks he's cool. As much as Namor thinks people are cool. I don't know if he's met Loki.

I like the idea of meeting in the Avengers Mansion. That could be fun. And I love the idea of Loki having to try and talk him down from something. That is the sort of thing that Loki has had to learn how to be good at. I don't think Namor has met the reincarnation of Loki, at least.

If Namor spends too much time on land he's going to become crazy irrational. So that makes it easy to come up with a situation where Loki needs to talk him down from rampaging. Er...it might be easier to splash him with a garden hose, actually. But, ANYWAY, maaaaaybe Namor's first day at the mansion? Would that work? The guy with pointy ears and winged feet wandering around in a speedo can't be hard to miss.

Wellllll, we'll just wait and see. If he's not able to stay (Molly will cry), Namor kind of makes a fuss pretty much everywhere he goes so it shouldn't be terribly difficult for them to run into each other. But we'll cross that bridge if we have to.

Namor and Kate have met a couple of times in the comics, mostly while the Young Avengers were teamed up with the Avengers so they'd know each other. I'm presuming he's 616 canon - if so it would be nice to meet up. At least then they are both on the same page and stuff and from the same universe so they'd have something in common.

Yup! He's 616, and pulled out of the Avengers vs X-Men Phoenix Five arc. So he'd know Kate. Hooray! I haven't managed to get ahold of any comics where he interacts with Kate, so I have zero information on their working relationship (google failed me too ;--  so uhhhh, whatever you can tell me will be super helpful. But, anyway, what do you want to do? He's already broken a bunch of doors, so I think I'll give'em a rest. I have an open thread in SoHo where some dolphins try to cheer him up, or we can go anywhere, and do anything~ Namor is a pretty easy person to recognize. Dat ego takes up a city block. |

They've met during several of the big team up operations like Siege, Civil War, Secret Invasion etc and there on pretty neutral ground so Kate never managed to piss him off so that's always a plus with Namor because everyone normally pisses him off. There was one point early on here he even seemed a tiny wee bitimpressed with the Young Avengers because unlike their adult counterparts they get shit done without having a fight about it and constantly bitching about each other.
I'ma go jump in your thread in SoHo then!
