I really want to stay.. I'm always in a different time zone, My home's where I roam. I'm never gonna stop, I'm a rolling stone. 'Cause I know how to say... Love in many different ways. It was amazing, just a blue speck. White and blue and brown, most people he met didnt look at it twice. But to him, it was everything. It was the place he had grown up on, learnt on, loved on. Looking down at it, it was hard to think of it as such a big thing. When really it was tiny in comparison to others. The world, plant Earth so vast so big to a human. So much to explore, so much to discover, so much to protect.
So why the hell was he stuck in one city? The feeling of being trapped had only grown after talking to Tony stark about what was going on. The feeling had only increased when Tony had no idea who he was or why he was at Stark towers door steps. It had been a somewhat rude awakening for the space cowboy. Now he felt like wandering the city, looking for something to distract himself from the life he had just left behind in the blink of an eye. He was about to give a speech to every ship as well as his fathers, telling them all to really look at who was leading them. After all it seemed common for the dumb to lead the blind.
Coffee, music, it was what he needed to feel normal. If the hybrid could in fact feel normal after finding out he was the only heir to a whole planet. Let alone a prince, growing up on a farm and being thrown into such a role had been quite the culture shock for him. And he really hadnt settled into it all that well considering he had gone off and become an outlaw in space. But that didnt really matter now that he was grounded on the one plant he had fought so hard to save.
Headphones over his ears he walked down the street, he had his gun tucked under his coat, the hoister hidden from sight. He wasnt stupid enough to leave home with out it, or well the flat he had rented out. The leather jacket he always wore was over his shoulders, he had convinced Stark to help him with a new suit since the space suit he had showed up in the city in was a little unusable to say the least.
Head down looking at his coffee he slammed right into some poor kid on the side walk. Coffee exploded from the cup in his hand, upwards and outwards on his white white shirt and slightly open jacket. But it wasnt just on him it was on the blonde kid as well. Taking the sun glasses off his eyes and trying to find a place dry enough to wipe them he slid the head phones off his ears. "Um sorry." He hopped he hadnt gotten the other too badly, it was his fault after all he had hit him. Replacing the glasses back over his blue hues he looked from the empty coffee to the person he had attacked.
"Well isnt that just great." Peter looked up at the sky. "Be a little curler why dont you." He kept looking up slightly raising his glass as well. "Just fucken great, thank you." ▌Tag: Meditation Lad▌Outfit: Here▌Date: May 27, 2014 16:00 EDT▌Notes: - - - ▌Song: Here

PETER QUILL SOMETIMES YOU REALLY JUST 'BUMP' INTO PPL
THE KEY TO IMMORTALITY IS FIRST LIVING A LIFE WORTH REMEMBERING
Wandering was something Danny had always enjoyed, the simple act of letting fate carry you to where it was you were meant to be was enriching. Now, in the backwards city, it was starting to be more of a necessity. While the layout was all still the same, it was the people and the social feel that needed to be mapped on a daily basis. Like his experience at the Airport had shown him, people here were a mix of the stable and explosively volatile. Some handled the city predicament as if it were just another day surrounded by heroes and their nemesis, while others were one stumble away from a complete meltdown. The only thing that made that even worse, was the potential for a city wide domino effect. One person, with one display of open and blatant despair could send all potential cases into their own downward spiral. People would get hurt, and even the most stable could cave under hysteria.
Every step outside was one that needed to be tread carefully. And while Daniel had no issues treading with feathered steps over thin ice, there were those who may take advantage at the chance of pandemonium and light the spark out of curiosity, or unfortunate mistake. That, was what he was out looking for. Enjoying the feel of sun on his face was just a bonus, the mission was to identify possible points of ignition, places to return in the cover of his dragon mask and uniform. Blending in now as plain old Daniel Rand allowed him access to the natural flow of the city without the added tension of heroic presence. Many would disagree that it happened, but similar to police, if there was authority in view then the streets always took on a tense and watchful nature. Not something that made sussing out hot spots easy.
For the moment, everything seemed in regular order and flow. Comfortable or not, those who could went about their daily lives while the others tried to find purpose in the captive city. Shops were busy, cash flowed, and with cellular communications restricted it seemed people were quick to take up public conversation again. Most of it was gossip, while the other half was daily complaints and the average everyday chatter. Trained ears of a master paid those talks no mind, what he wanted to hear was talk about the city, or any voice looking to stir up trouble within the ‘dome’.
For a moment he thought he heard something, a ghost of a whisper muttering about how this place would be the end of them. The sharp feeling of despair hit him like a wall among the other more pleasant emotions. The sensation didn’t end at just a mental level though, it would seem there was a physical wall as well. Was that even possible?
Stumbling back but catching himself quickly he remained upright despite the sudden collision. Blue hues snapped forward to see the taller man he had run into. Coffee now soaking into his unfortunately white shirt. Naturally Danny’ had held out his arms to grab the other in the even that it knocked one of them completely off balance, seeing as neither were headed to their asses though he let his hands drop slowly as he felt the sting of coffee seep in past his own cotton layer. The colder ambient temperature made quick work of sucking away the heat from his skin, but for a moment he had to pull the fabric away and give it a second to properly cool.
“My apologies as well, I guess I was not focused on my path.” Danny meant it, the other was not the only to blame. Though often he was rather good at avoiding such situations, he had thrown all of his attention into pin pointing the whispers before. Even with his lightening reflexes, a direct hit like this would have made evasion of the coffee impossible.
Assessing own sure he really only hade a few spots that were damp with the brew, but as much as he hated to admit it new cloths were easy for him to come by. He could not confidently say the same for the other though. Watching him have a rather calm little break down Danny could not help but feel even worse for ruining the other shirt and drink. Not only that, but even a small annoyed gripe like this could be enough to take someone else’s bad day up a level or two. “Please..” he began lifting a hand up to touch the open top of the mostly empty coffee cup. Using a soft pressure he pushed down in an attempt to gain the others attention and bring his eyes down in sync with the cup. “..There is no need to cry over spilt coffee.” The adaptation of the common proverb was not perfect, but it fit the situation. Besides for all he knew there had been milk in the coffee anyhow. “Allow me to help soothe the issue. Would you like a replacement for you drink, and if you need it I can help you out with the shirt.” Looking down he had to chuckle a bit before nodding “..I have to hit up the mall anyhow.”. His tone was genuine and the soft but content features across his face only drove home that his words were true. He was not mad, and not trying to somehow scam the other into replacing his shirt instead of actually replacing the others.
Once things seemed ‘cooled down’ he lifted a hand to wipe on his drier hoodie and then offered it to the older male. “Daniel Rand” the title could be hit or miss, only if he was familiar with New York could there be the potential for his last name to be put together with the famous Rand International. Even then, he was not the only Rand in existence so it could still be presumptuous to assume he was not just some average joe. In honesty, he really preferred it that way too.
Oddly enough, even if it was not the exact man, he would someday find out that this ‘stranger’ was not just a guy on the street. Danny knew of Starlord, one of his team mates mentors. He just had no idea who he was without his uniform, or what his actual name was. Strange how fate drew you to exactly where you need to be.

I really want to stay.. I'm always in a different time zone, My home's where I roam. I'm never gonna stop, I'm a rolling stone. 'Cause I know how to say... Love in many different ways. He wasnt as as upset as he was letting on to be. Sure it was spilt coffee, but it was his spilt coffee. He didnt really have money right now to replace it. He was a prince but that didnt mean that he had money. After all it was his father who seemed to hate him and his ways. There was a hand that pressed down on his cut. Peter looked at the blond confused.
"I think I need a moment of silence for it." He pretended to sniffle as the other removed his hand from his cup. But it was all a joke, the other offered to replace his coffee. Peter was surprised, most people would have blamed him and walked away. Not offered him a new drink and a new shirt. "Sure I guess?" Maybe this was some kind of joke, after all Tony hadnt been all that welcoming to him when he had seen him. "The mall, full of people? Sounds like a blast." He paused after he had said it. "Thank you."
The stranger offered his hand after he had wiped it on his sweater. Peter had no idea who he was, Peter wiped his hand on his pants. "Peter Quill." He offered the other a firm but respective shake. As soon as the hand shake was done he dropped his hand to the tape deck on his belt and pressed stop so that the music blaring from the head phones was no more. "So um, how long have you been here? And where's the mall?" He added the question to the end as he followed the other towards the shopping centre. Peter wasnt quite sure what to say to the other as they walked down the road. The coffee on his shirt was cool. Peter reached for his zipper on his jacket and pulled it up slightly. ▌Tag: Meditation Lad▌Outfit: Here▌Date: May 27, 2014 16:00 EDT▌Notes: - - - ▌Song: Here

PETER QUILL R.I.P COFFEE YOU WILL BE MISSED
THE KEY TO IMMORTALITY IS FIRST LIVING A LIFE WORTH REMEMBERING
Daniel rose a curious brow at the idea of giving the hot beverage its proper respects after ‘passing on’. The unsure expression quickly became a smile as he couldn’t help but think that this Peter reminded him a bit of the other one he knew. Granted Parker was a bit younger, but still they had that quirky sense of humor. Danny gave a polite node of his head and though it was a useless gesture he lowered his head in a moment of silence, brief, but silent. The silence was broken by a chuckle as he shook his head at the obsurdity of it all and while he was thanked the teen surveyed the coffee ‘damage’ a little closer before tilting his head up and offering another smile. “It’s my pleasure, what better way to take an accident and possibly develop a friendship. In a city like his it is better to make alliances than enemies” he spoke in the wise tone he was known for by his friends. Granted most of the time it seemed to go ignored.
As the hand shake was returned he knew that there was no hard feelings between them. He was glad actually to have someone, for all he knew, normal to talk to. As a hero things always seemed like business, and what he had come out to do was in a way just an extention of that. Heading to the mall, even with a stranger, was part of the ‘normalcies’ he miss from just being a teenager.
“Just follow me. While I have only been ‘here’ for a few days, I know this city like the back of my hand.” And Danny was actually someone who knew his hands very well. Every part of the body could be used as a shield or a weapon, it was part of his training to become familiar with every inch of who he was. While they walked, for the sake of continuing the conversation he returned the question and added one of his own. “And you Peter? How long have you been a part of ‘this’ New York?” he asked, but to be honest he was not even sure the other knew of their situation, he was just hoping that by placing emphasis on key words that the other would eventually ask, or just play along knowing why from a previous explanation. “ And for a follow up, where are you from?”. Even if the other was of this world in particular, it was unlikely that if he was asking for directions he was from New York. Confident that no matter where it was something he could get an answer for he threw it in there to help break any ice still between them.
As they walked Danny allowed his mind to drown out the worry, and focus only on the idea of having an afternoon with this Peter Quill fellow he had met. The man seemed nice enough, and a new face that didn’t know him from some other time or place was rather refreshing too. It felt, for the first time here, like something natural and as normal as anything in this multiverse prison could.
Once at the mall Danny made a b-line for the coffee shop, even if coffee first could lead to more spill, it was just nice to have it for sipping while they wandered the ever busy shopping center. It seemed they were not the only ones looking to feel like everything was just as it always had been. Other than a few conversations about the locked city here and there, most were just as they would have been without the dome prison. How long that would last was still up in the air though. “I know its soon..” he said with a smirk “..but what would you like to replace your last drink? Even though I am sure I will live on with you in your heart and soul forever” it was a cheesy joke but, Peter had started it right?

I really want to stay.. I'm always in a different time zone, My home's where I roam. I'm never gonna stop, I'm a rolling stone. 'Cause I know how to say... Love in many different ways. It was Peters turn to look at him a bit confused. Friend ship, jumping the gun a little now wasnt he? But Peter didnt say anything about it, he allowed his shoulders to rise and fall. "You never know." Was all he offered to the other. Peter was a bit relived to know that he and Tony werent the only two that seemed to be displaced by what was going on. "Two days, I think." He had seen Tony and asked for his help in making his suit once again. But other then that he had really done nothing. Time seemed to pass differently back on Earth.
He thought for a moment, a thoughtful pause. "Isn't that the question of the decade. I am from Earth, small town farm. But where did I come from two days ago?" He stated as if they where two different questions all together. His free hand pointed upwards. "I was on a space station fighting my fathers men to save the Earth. Where where you Daniel?" He asked in return as he dropped his hand and tossed the mostly empty cup into a trash can.
They walked there was a silence between them, but it didnt seem awkward or stretched. Peter let it settle over them both as he adjusted his jacket out of habit to ensure the elemental gun was still hidden. Walking into the mall made him cringe a little, it felt so human to be here. The air conditioning hit him in the face and he moved the sun glasses off of hue blue hues and to the top of his head. People mingled about and talked and laughed. His hues went for the exists, where he could run if he needed to. An old habit of being a thief.
He raised his hand dramatically to his chest, just over his heart. "Oh, forever and ever." There was a coffee shop close by, it said Second Cup. He jutted his chin towards it, "that will do." He said as he avoided walking into a group of teen girls who seemed to be to absorbed in there smart phones to look where they where going. "I forgot how crowded Earth is, dont get me wrong its great. But after youve been in space its kind of hard to get used to the cramped the Earth is." Peter mused his blue hues flinting to the other to see his reaction as he walked up to the coffee girl. "A large coffee, black." He said as he looked to the other to place his order before they settled and grabbed there drinks.
"Where does a guy like you like to shop?" ▌Tag: Meditation Lad▌Outfit: Here▌Date: May 27, 2014 16:00 EDT▌Notes: - - - ▌Song: Here

PETER QUILL THAT'S AN AMERICAN STORE RIGHT?
THE KEY TO IMMORTALITY IS FIRST LIVING A LIFE WORTH REMEMBERING
Danny gave only a nod as Peter explained that he was nearly just a new to this dimension as he was. Only a few days, and yet it already felt like a forever away from his team. This little encounter was actually one of the first times since his arrival that he could put his full focus on something other than his worry. Or at least, it had been until this seemingly normal guy openly admitted to being in space before arriving here. He supposed it was possible that just because the guy said he came from a space station didn’t mean he was not your average joe, and that in his dimension space travel was more common. What did grab his full attention was the idea that he was sucked away from a fight with his ‘father’s men’. The only reason for anyone to have ‘men’ was if they were leaders of some kind. Who was this man beside him, what more was there behind the shades and coffee?
Not one to pry, he would try to get his information without blatantly demanding the other elaborate. From there he could judge the others willingness to discuss his past and tread forward without losing this chance to make an alliance. Showing his surprise through the added focus of his eyes Danny turned his upper body to face the other better as they walked. “Wait? Space?” he asked for clarification, trying to at least sound as shocked as he should be. Most people on earth didn’t know of the civilizations in the galaxies around them. Danny had the fortune of knowing a member of the Nova core, and even the galaxy heroes know as, well, the guardians of the galaxy. Nova talked about space all the time, the homesickness obvious in the way he constantly compared their daily events to the core and his training. That, was just simply luck of the draw for his team, no average person got that kind of information. He had to play it cool.
“You and your father live in space?” the repetitive question was only to add to his surprise, but seeing as it wasn’t like he thought the other was lying, he kept up the conversation without need for another answer. “I would say it sounds relaxing but, it sounds like it’s not all it’s cracked up to be?” he pointed out, referencing the combat Peter spoke of. “Myself, I am a humble citizen of Earth, Full time. I was born here in New York, but I grew up in the Himalayas. I had only returned to the city a couple of years before being abducted” as much as he had no personal issues with telling people he was from Khun’ Lun, it was for the safety of his team that identities were kept secret, and even here he was not ready to put them at risk.
The comfortable silence felt short as they walked, his mind taking up the chance to catch up on the new information, and push back the thoughts of his team brought up by his mental reference to Nova. Stepping into the busy mall helped to instantly snap things back into place and get him back on the path to enjoying the day. Glancing over at Peter while he pulled back his shades Danny checked his watch and then scoped out the mall. Everything seemed as it always was back home. A few shops were different, and some closed sections were now filled with an outlet. That was the ‘future’ for you, progress had to be made and it was to be expected that things would be at least a ‘little’ different.
As the Second Cup was referenced, shortly after a final promise made to his lost coffee, Danny smiled and accepted the idea with a nod. Moving through the mall was second nature, the hordes of people were just part of city life, not to mention high school. Watching the teens go by he wouldn’t have given it a second thought had Peter not brought it up. “I haven’t been, but I suppose with endless space it’s hard to feel cramped.” He chuckled softly before ordering a green tea and paying for both the beverages. Turning back to Peter as the order was processed and prepared he held up a finger “though being uninhabitable, is there not the potential on ships and other planets to face the same issues? Or is it more common for a ship never to have a full load of occupants?”. Daniel knew nothing of life beyond earth. He could only assume that in the immensity of space it wasn’t too often you would come across so many people in one area.
Taking his cup he held it up in an incomplete cheers and after blowing lightly across the top of the tea, he took a sip and carried on back out into the bustle of the mall. Next was shirts, and clothing was the one thing this place had seemingly no limit of. Looking back at Peter he shrugged “Where ever there is a good deal and quality craftsmanship”. Danny was not the kind of guy who needed name brand, even if he had ample cash to drop on clothing. For him it was all about the comfort, functionality, and quality.
Glancing the mall he noticed one place he knew well enough “There’s always the Aeropostale, fairly popular, unless you have your own preferences?” he offered but it would seem that not living on earth meant that he may not exactly have a specific store to like from the planet. Setting out into the mall he headed for the clothing store, navigating the crowd without losing a single drop of tea, or so much as brushing against another human figure. When focused, it was easy for him to see the patterns of movement and position himself the move with perfect flow through the sea of bodies. While doing so he often checked to make sure Peter was making out all right.
“Do you have a prefered color or style?” he asked stopping at the store entrance and looking him over a bit. “White obviously not the wisest of choices” he pointed out with a bit of a laugh. The stain setting in it was actually a bit sad how the look could pass for some kind of fashion and no one might even notice. He could feel the damp fabric still against his skin and was sure the second they were in the store it would be obvious they were looking to buy. “Your call though” he offered and moved across the threshold before meandering to find some things to look at. Pausing at a rather simple blue shirt with different tones of the same color used to make shapes over the front.

I really want to stay.. I'm always in a different time zone, My home's where I roam. I'm never gonna stop, I'm a rolling stone. 'Cause I know how to say... Love in many different ways. “Wait? Space?”
It was hard to hide the smirk from his features as the other thought about what he had just told him. Space, it was the final fronter. Maybe the other wouldnt even believe him, maybe he would think he was crazy. What would this Danny say if Peter told him about the elemental gun under his coat? It was hard to gauge people after being away in space for so long.
“You and your father live in space?”
Peter couldnt keep the sideways smirk away. "Yes space, I dont live with him per say. But we both live out there, its a long story really. Lets just say he and I dont have the best relationship." He said as if it didnt matter that he was from space, he left out a lot about who he and his father where. Not a lot of people knew he was a prince, he would prefer to keep it that way. "Oh I dont know, I get to save the world everyday. Or at least I got to before I came here."
“Myself, I am a humble citizen of Earth, Full time. I was born here in New York, but I grew up in the Himalayas. I had only returned to the city a couple of years before being abducted”
"Abducted huh? How was that? Fun, time of your life?" The boy was here before him, so he assumed that he was alright, at least to some degree. There was more to the other then what was on the surface, it was plain to see that. But he wasnt sure if he wanted to dig into what the other was all about. The large black coffee in his hand felt warm and welcoming.
"I dont know, space is so big. I had a crew in space, there was only five of us. So it never really felt all that suffocating. Plus when it started to feel like it was all to much I came back here. Spent a week travelling around." He mused to the other as they began to wander around the mall, the other offered up a store name he knew nothing about. He lifted his shoulders up and down in a sign that he didnt care.
Back in the mall he moved out of the way of people clumsily. He would rather be on the space station right now fighting for the Earth, but in stead he was avoiding bumping into people who seemed to be mesmerised by the portable communicator they carried. "Something that doesnt make me look like I am from space?" He offered the other as a joke, holding his coffee close so no one spilled it. He followed the others gaze to the coffee stain on his shirt. "Yeah, maybe white isnt the best."
His free hand went up to adjust his jacket, making sure his gun was hidden. It was a habit that only seemed to show when he was on Earth with humans. Peter stayed outside of the store for a moment, watching the people inside, looking at the screens of there devices. He watched as people picked things up and looked at them, Danny included.
Walking in he skirted away from people, making his way to Dannys side he looked down at the blue shirt. It was a calm color, the kind of color that he would never find himself in. Peters free hand picked up a black shirt and held it up to his front. He looked down as his bangs fell into his line of sight, there was a white design on it that he didnt understand. "It's been years since I was on Earth. I dont even know what is in and what is not. Or if it even matters. Earths customs are strange when you look at them from the outside." The words left his lips as he put the shirt back.
"What is that she is carrying?" He asked as he jutted his chin towards a girl with her mother. The girl was staring at the odd screen, Peter was stuck in the past when it came to the technologies of Earth, he still like the old fashioned tape deck. "Is it a communicator of some sort? Why isnt she putting it away? Dose she have to have it out?" ▌Tag: Meditation Lad▌Outfit: Here▌Date: May 27, 2014 16:00 EDT▌Notes: - - - ▌Song: Here

985 PETER QUILL NOT MANY IPHONES IN SPACE I GUESS HAHA
THE KEY TO IMMORTALITY IS FIRST LIVING A LIFE WORTH REMEMBERING
Danny was far less distracted, this was as close to normal as he felt he could get in a dimension that wasn’t his own. It was almost calming to do something so basic as buying clothing and avoiding mall traffic. This was what life would be if he never left for the mountains, never trained to be who he was, and never fought shou lou. He would be the teenager sucked into their phones, or worried about how many friends they had on face book while ignoring the ones at their side who ironically were just doing the same thing. No worry about the world safety and defending the weak, only that simple things like if their parents would be mad that the stayed out late or how they would survive life without having that new phone they couldn’t afford.
Okay, to be fair maybe he wouldn’t have to worry about affording things but, still this was the one place he saw what could have been and it made him rather happy. Happy, that he had chosen the path he did. This little world in itself, the mall, the one place were so many of all the different facets of human life combined for various reasons reminded him that he had the privilege to have seen more they anyone here might ever see. It was also the perfect spot to see just what it was that their efforts brought to the cities of the world. This town would have been burned to ash many a times if not for heroes, and the people carless and air headed as some of the were, had the opportunity to be free because no over power dictator had one them out against those who protected them.
Speaking of having seen wonderous things, the man next to him had done even more than just seeing what earth had to offer, he had seen other worlds. The vast expanse of space, and Danny wouldn’t deny that opportunity to learn from him was boundless. Nova rarely had the time or patience to work through some of the things Danny asked, but maybe over the span of this trip he could pick this mans brain. While trying to make it seem less like space questions as he was sure they would get a few off putting stares.
“Something that doesn’t make me look from space”
Danny couldn’t help but laugh as he looked over the selection the older had picked out to hold up to his chest. “I doubt there is anything here my friend that would blatantly stay, Look at me I am from space.” It was honestly not even a ‘look’ that he was sure he could understand. The other at the moment didn’t even look like he was from space. It was only because he understood the possibility that he entertained the idea this man really was outside the atmosphere. “Is white shirt and coat a common space look?” he asked before giving the thumbs up to what the other picked. “I am sure any customs we are not used to may come off as strange, I know where I am from things are also done quite differently and ..no internet really makes a difference” he pointed out and picked up grey with a chuckle. “I was wrong..perhaps there is something that could make you seem spacey” he held up the blue graphic t-shirt of a monkey astronaut giving a thumbs up before returning it to its spot to see if anything else caught his eye. After seeing what the other had picked up he grabbed another black tee with the fire bird logo on it. “Cars always seem to be popular if ‘fitting in’ is the goal.” He offered advice, granted most of his own wisdom in this area came from either Luke or Sam.
Hearing the question as he held up the shirt he looked to where the other had motioned and rose a brow. Even he knew about cell phones, and was raised by kung-fu monks. “It’s a cell phone..space must not get out much..” he offered before pulling out his own phone. “Doesn’t have to be out but it is common for kids now days. The platform can call, play games, play music, stream videos, take photos. It’s a useful tool that has consumed much of the youth.” Holding out his to the other if he wanted to look it over he smiled and explained his own passion for his one electronic guilty pleasure “I use mine mostly for music..nothing sooths the soul like a great tune” he said in all to California hippie surfer kind of a way. “if you enjoy a good beat, that’s another popular shirt style, album covers.” Not sure what kind of music they had in space, he knew the other would at least know a few from earth right?.
All the talk of space was really making him miss his friend, and after this little while to discuss it in his mind he figured he may get away with playing dumb and still getting some questions in. Much like any kid could talk about the avengers and not be suspected of being a member, he figured bringing up his friends heroic team couldn’t be to dangerous if he responded correctly. “So…peter of space..you happen to know of the Nova core? Or um…that other group the..um..galaxy guardians or something like that?” Nova would kick him for say it wrong but he really didn’t want to appear to informed on the subject. He simply wanted to get a conversation going but had no idea the man in front of him would know a lot more then he ever could have guessed. He also hoped that it was possible that a mere earthling could know anything about either. It had to be reasonable that some people here knew about them by now right?

I really want to stay.. I'm always in a different time zone, My home's where I roam. I'm never gonna stop, I'm a rolling stone. 'Cause I know how to say... Love in many different ways. “I doubt there is anything here my friend that would blatantly stay, Look at me I am from space.”
Dannys sense of humour was growing on him, Peter raised his shoulders and then allowed them to fall. He looked at all the coloured shirts before him as people mulled about the store. “Is white shirt and coat a common space look?” Peter found himself looking down at what he was wearing, he felt like this was some kind of joke. "Nope, usually have my breather on and sometimes a suit if I really feel like not dying." He said with a slight chuckle. Even now he had the button to engage his mask that doubled as a breather. You never knew what could happen.
Peter watched as the other picked out a blue shirt with a monkey on it. After training with NASA for years he could honestly say he knew some people who acted like monkeys. Peter gave there other a smile, "no internet huh? Must have been hard to entertain yourself." Peter paused making a motion near the front of his pants, "you know." He was trying to get a reaction out of the other, but the smirk on his face may have gave the joking manner in which he spoke away.
When the other explained to him what a cell phone was he simply tilted his head to the side. "So they don;t implant them into peoples heads yet? We don't even need human translators they are built into the buildings and ships." He didnt have one implanted in his head, but he knew people who did. It seemed so much easier for them. "I dont have one in my brain, if you where wondering. Nope, I am pretty old school. I like things a bit simpler." Music, he could understand that.
Peter pulled out his tape deck and old school head phones. "This is almost as good as a record player. But this, this is where its at when it comes to goo music." The head phones where still sitting around his neck, he pocketed the device once again and looked to another shirt. The stood there for a while, pulling out shirts and looking at each other for guidance in what to pick. Peter wasn't really sure if anything int he store would suit him, but soon the other spoke.
“So…peter of space..you happen to know of the Nova core? Or um…that other group the..um..galaxy guardians or something like that?”
Danny was asking the right questions now, Peter thought about how to answer the other for a moment while he set down yet another shirt this one had the word YOLO across it. "The Nova core not so much, but I have heard of the Gardians of the Galaxy. Now those guys are cool, there leader Star-lord quite the handsome fellow." There was a smirk on his face as he spoke, it was so amusing talking to humans at times, Danny had no idea he was standing beside the legendary half prince Peter Quill.
There was a sound at the front of the store, two people yelling. On man had a gun, yelling at the man behind the till to hand over the money. Peter was at attention in an instant. The man with the gun was working along side a woman with a bag open and waiting as the man behind the till begged for them not to shoot. Peters hand went to the side of his leg, he pushed the small button in. Looking at Danny as his mask covered his features he gave the boy a wink. As soon as the mask was over his features blocking them out he unzipped his coat, pulling out his elemental gun.
His steps where swift as he made his way to the front of the store, "hey! Put the gun down." But it wasn't him who said it, Peter looked to the entrance of the store to see a large, fat man standing there with what looked like a gun. But it didnt have a normal barrel to it. It was a three man sand off, the goon at the till was now pointing a knife at him and the gun at the fat man in blue. "Awkward."

951 PETER QUILL LOOKS LIKE WE GOT OURSELVES A MEXICAN STAND OFF..
THE KEY TO IMMORTALITY IS FIRST LIVING A LIFE WORTH REMEMBERING
The tape deck sparked awe in the young teen’s eyes as he looked over the rather ancient music tool. “Way cool dude!”. Looking up though he thought more over the idea of having a chip in your head and he shook his own in distaste. “For the phone brain chips though..Technology already consumes too much of our lives, to have it permanently in your head would be a step to far.” He could only imagine how lazy the already pampered masses would be if they could just do everything their phones did in their thoughts. Talk about stressful and overwhelming. Sometimes it was nice to put your phone aside and escape the world, but how could you do that when it was a part of your own mind. Perhaps it was a blessing that earth was not yet that advanced.
Danny stood for the most part nodding or shaking his head at the selections the other pulled out, granted the majority were head shakes. There were tones of other stores to try, so he was not dead set on finding something here. Daniel was a patient person and if this was not the ‘right place’ then so be it, he was the perfect shopping companion and was also not one to lie for the sake of fashion, if he didn’t like it or think it benifited the other he would say it. The down fall for him when it came to shopping with women though. Men, if you old them the shirt made them look dumb would nod or shrug it off and keep looking. Women, as he learned the hard way with Ava, are a bit more sensitive to the subject. The last time he told her a shirt she picked was not very zen, she had openly told him the not so friendly places he could shove his ‘karma, hippie bull **** opinions’, and promptly proceeded to ask MJ’s opinion and buy the shirt. One had to learn a lesson before it could be taught, and that was one that had great value if he ever found the time to settle into a relationship.
Peter set aside the YOLO shirt Danny began to run his hand through a few more of the rows of shirts while the other answered his previous question. A smile came to his lips as he heard the confirmation that this man indeed knew of the Guardians. While it did not yet click that the man next to him was in fact a member of the famous galactic team, it was exciting to think that maybe he would have the opportunity to find out about possibly another version of his Nova. “I suppose ‘Cool’ is a good word to describe them. From what I have heard though it’s a high functioning dysfunctional rag tag team. One of the best across the universe.” Glancing over at Peter he saw that proud grin and had to rise one of his brows with suspicion. “I’ve never seen him but..I’ll take your word for it…” There was so much more he would have loved to discuss, and most pressingly to talk about if he would have in turn heard of Nova but the situation went from light hearted to dead serious in the span of one threat and two robbers.
Danny instantly dropped the shirt he had picked out and quickly took in his surroundings. Exits, local population estimate, and potential secondary threats. His new found friend though seemed to be a bit more prepared though, and I would turn out the white shirt and coat were a lot more spacey then previously assumed. With the touch of a button a face mask folded over Peter’s visage and was instantly he identification he needed.
All he pieces fell into place and he knew now exactly whom he had been speaking with. Nova had shown him pictures of the team before but never of Peter’s real face. The mask though, was unmistakable, and as the scene unfolded so was the weapon. The elemental gun he had heard so much about. Nova had raved about its glory and how Peter wielded it with ease, however this was no space fight. It was simply a man with a gun and knife looking for cash.
Adding to the already complicated situation the mall security guard showed up with less than adequate preparation and the three were suddenly at a stand-off. Keeping low he moved closer checking around them for anyone who wanted to try their luck at being a hero. Fortunately the whole store was on the ground and people outside, however loud and screaming, were keeping a distance from the entrance. Now he just had to deal with captain space gun and the unstable gun/knife wielding robber and his accomplice. Hating to be ‘that guy’ he held up his hands moving ever close while being as obvious about his lack of weapon as possible. “Okay, nobody needs to get shot here..Lets all just calm down.” a soothing voice might be enough to keep any bullets or..elements..from being fired but he could see the criminal better now and the terror in his eyes was clear. He didin’t know what the mask was about or what the hell kind of gun that was and with the fear of dangerous supervillains or unstable anti-heroes, he was sure the guy was only going to hold onto his weapons that much tighter instead of dropping them down.
The tension was tight, and Danny knew they needed a distraction or someone was getting shot. From what little he knew though, none of them were bullet proof and he really didn’t need to explain the ammunition of Peter’s gun to the mall cop.
